The Your City Our Future survey asked what people liked and disliked about living in Bristol before COVID-19, their experiences during the first lockdown, and what they wanted Bristol to be like in the future.
A survey was launched in August 2020 to help understand issues which citizens think are most important to the city.
It provided valuable insights on:
- Citizens’ experiences during lockdown (what we liked and disliked)
- Citizens’ priorities for Bristol’s future
- Topics to be explored in the citizens’ assembly
The survey questions were based around issues Bristol citizens told us about in focus groups held during July 2020
We received a fantastic 6,535 responses to the survey and this has provided a wealth of valuable views and ideas which helped the council's plans and helped us design Bristol's first citizens' assembly.
