Venue notes

You can visit Central library to:

  • browse and borrow books and other media
  • collect books you have reserved
  • return your loans
  • use computers and print (computers shut down 15 minutes before the library closing time)
  • use Wi-Fi
  • use the reading room, reference stock and microfilm 
  • use study space
  • view the electoral register
  • access newspapers
  • use the photocopier
  • use the toilets
  • use the cafe: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4pm and Saturday, 10am to 4pm

Getting there

By bus: find information and plan your journey on the TravelWest website.

Parking

Cycling: There are bicycle stands at the front of the library.

Pay-and-display parking is available at both the front and rear of the library. There are nine spaces in College Square on parking meters, plus an area set aside for motorcycles and scooters.

Disabled parking is in front of the library near the ramp entrance. Badge holders may park free.
