Our Bristol Recovery Orientated Alcohol and Drugs Service (ROADS) is a partnership between four core organisations:
- Developing Health and Independence (DHI)
- Bristol Drugs Project (BDP)
- Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP)
- Ara recovery for all (Ara)
Anyone can refer themselves or others regardless of the problem substance, one of our services will be able to help.
Heroin and other opiates
If you require immediate help with recovery from heroin and other opiates, visit your GP and they can refer you to BDP.
If you’re ready to arrange an initial consultation:
- call DHI on 0117 440 0540
- email roads@dhi-services.org.uk
You can then continue to a full assessment which will usually take place within 7 days of your first meeting. This will help DHI work out which of the four organisations can help you best and offer you a full programme of support.
If you’d like to refer yourself or somebody else directly you can use our confidential referral service
Alternatively, you can read detailed information about what each organisation offers, including some in-person services that can be accessed directly, in these pages:
