The Healthy Schools team offers support in establishing a whole-school approach to improving the health and wellbeing of their school community. It's free and available to Bristol primary and secondary schools (including ALP and Special schools).

The team provides schools with evidence-based and up to date information, resources, and guidance aligned with Ofsted and the PSHE curriculum.

We provide:

  • frameworks for implementing a whole-school approach to health and wellbeing
  • an awards scheme
  • the Bristol Pupil Voice survey (schools receive their own report, but here's a link to the pdf city-wide 2024 report(5.25 MB) )
  • a monthly newsletter
  • Bristol Healthy Schools/PSHE Network meetings
  • topic-specific webinars
  • bespoke School Community Health Profiles
