  • Beira and Bristol

    Bristol and Beira signed a friendship agreement in 1990 and the Bristol Link with Beira (BLB) supports networks in Mozambique to provide practical benefits to communities

  • Bordeaux and Bristol

    Bristol and Bordeaux have been twinned since 1947. The Bristol Bordeaux Partnership (BBP) supports the many links between our two cities

  • Guangzhou and Bristol

    In 2001, Bristol and Guangzhou signed a Sister City agreement. Today, the West of England China Bureau (WoECB) works to connect the two cities.

  • Hannover and Bristol

    The Bristol Hannover Council (BHC) manages a wide range of initiatives with our German twin city, and has been active since our cities twinned in 1947.

  • Oporto and Bristol

    Bristol twinned with Oporto in 1984. The Bristol Oporto Association (BOA) builds bridges between our two cities, organising many Portuguese-themed events.

  • Puerto Morazan and Bristol

    Bristol Link with Nicaragua (BLINC) is the voluntary association which set up and develops the link with Puerto Morazán, a friendship dating back to 1989.

  • Tbilisi and Bristol

    The twinning between Tbilisi and Bristol was established in 1988 and is supported by the Bristol Tbilisi Association (BTA).
