Extended access means you can get into the library using your library card, even when there are no staff in the library.
You can search for your closest library by postcode or alphabetically by area.
These libraries have extended access:
- St George
- Stockwood
- Westbury (there is no extended access service at Westbury currently due to a problem with the front doors. We are working as quickly as we can to resolve this.)
How to get extended access
To apply for extended access visit either St George, Stockwood or Westbury library. You'll be given a short introduction on how to use the card.
Your card will work at all three libraries.
You'll need to be a member of the library or join the library to have extended access.
Under 16s
Under 16s can't have extended access, but can use the library during unstaffed hours if they're with a parent or carer who is registered for extended access.
