In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026, Bristol City Council gives notice to commence preparation for the new Bristol Local Plan 2045, which will incorporate a Minerals and Waste Plan for Bristol.
The local plan covers the administrative area of Bristol City Council, as seen in the map below. However, there are no planning policies relating to the maritime extension, so attention is drawn to the ‘Plan Area'.
This notice takes effect from the date of its publication.
