They also provide information and support for children such as:

  • speech and language support
  • two year education
  • healthy start vouchers
  • activities for children including Forest school, group's activities, crafts.

Their service area covers Bedminster, Withywood, Hartcliffe, Whitchurch, Stockwood, Knowle, part of Redcliffe, Totterdown.

Mothers for Mothers Go to https://mothersformothers.co.uk/ (opens new window) provide services for someone experiencing anxiety, depression, distress or isolation during pregnancy and or after the birth of your baby including:

  • telephone support and helpline
  • home visiting
  • peer support groups
  • art therapy and counselling
  • antenatal groups
  • peer support for mothers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • trips and events

Support for food poverty

Heart of BS13

Heart of BS13 Go to https://www.heartofbs13.org.uk/ (opens new window) provide frozen meals for you to take home, 2 meals per person per week or 3 meals per person in single household. Free 8 week service.

Meals can be collected weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11am to 4pm.
