We're looking for affordable private rental properties in Bristol for Afghan and Syrian refugees.
Ideally, the properties would be:
- a family home s with 1 to 5 bedrooms
- available for a tenancy of at least 2 years
We also need properties which are accessible for people with mobility impairments and wheelchair accessible properties.
What you get
If you rent your property with us, you'll get:
- guaranteed monthly rent payments
- rent payments paid directly to you
- help with costs to bring properties up to rental standard
- void periods covered, so we'll pay rent even when the property is empty
- up to £1,200 as a thank you payment
- furniture and items to help make the house a home
- assistance and advice throughout the tenancy using bilingual workers
We'll also support you by providing:
- tenancy sign up paperwork
- a support worker for the families
- an inventory for the property
- interim property inspections to make sure the property is in good condition
- references from landlords who are already part of the scheme, if requested
