In 2025, partners and communities agreed to the Bristol Belonging and Thriving Strategy.
The strategy vision
We will work together so that all children and young people in Bristol feel they belong, can achieve and thrive, and are supported to be ambitious, safe and joyful
This strategy and vision guides everything we do for children, young people and families. It includes all partnership work for them, but the strategy is developed and led by Keeping Children Safe.

Our council strategies
We work with partners to support children, young people and families in many ways. We've developed a range of strategies to make sure we are delivering the best we possibly can.

Engaging young people
We're committed to listening to the voices of young people and giving them a chance to shape how we make decisions. This is an expectation of all our services, but you can read more about the Bristol City Youth Council.
