Information about Healthier Together, our local Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).

Bristol City Council is one of 13 health and care organisations that make up Healthier Together, our local Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP).

Healthier Together represents a shared commitment between the 13 organisations to improving health and care in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

It's about tackling the issues that matter most and finding ways to continue providing safe, high-quality care for generations to come.

We work with our partners so we can continue to meet the health needs of our local population at a time of increasing demand and constrained resources.

We've involved our communities to help us shape our plans. We'll continue to listen and work with local people, staff and the voluntary sector as we work towards a more integrated approach to delivering health and care in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Ten priority areas have been identified for the focus of our work:

  • Acute Care Collaboration
  • Digital Transformation
  • General Practice Resilience
  • Healthy Weston
  • Integrated Community Localities
  • Maternity
  • Mental Health
  • Prevention
  • Urgent Care
  • Workforce
