How to replace your keys or key fob.
You'll be given a key fob or metal communal key when you begin your tenancy.
Let us know if your key gets damaged, stolen, or if you lose it. You can also ask for an extra one.
We'll post your key fob or metal communal key to you by second class post.
Tenants
If you’re a tenant, request a new key using MyBristolHousing as follows:
- Log into MyBristol Housing.
- Select ‘My hub’ from the top banner if using a laptop, or bottom banner if using a smartphone.
- Select ‘Contact us’.
- Select ‘Tenant - Communal Fob request’ if you need a new electronic key fob, or ‘Tenant – Communal (metal) key request’ if you need a new metal key.
- Complete the form and select ‘Submit’.
Leaseholders
If you’re a leaseholder, request a new key by completing the following form.

If you're having problems getting in to your building, remember it could be the door that has a problem, not your key fob.
