Get a 50% discount if you pay your parking or bus lane fine, also known as a Penalty Charge Notice, within the timeframe shown on your Penalty Charge Notice.
You'll need your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) number. This will start with the letters BS or OB, followed by 8 digits for example BS12345678. If you've lost your PCN fill in our Parking Services form.

Send a cheque
You can send a cheque made payable to Bristol City Council to:
Payment Processing (Parking PCN), PO Box 3399, Bristol City Council, Bristol, BS1 9NE.
What happens if you don't pay
You'll have to pay the full charge if you don't pay or appeal your PCN within 28 days. After 28 days, you may get a further reminder letter to pay the outstanding charge. We may ask an enforcement agent, also known as a bailiff, to collect the money you owe. You'll also have to pay the bailiff's fees.
If you've received a Charge Certificate and you do not pay the oustanding amount in full within the timeframe stated in the letter, you may get a further reminder in an SMS text message or email requesting full payment. If you do not pay after this reminder, the PCN will be registered as an outstanding debt with the Traffic Enforcement Centre.
