Housing forums
A housing forum is a meeting where council housing tenants and leaseholders can discuss housing services with the council.
If you're a tenant or leaseholder, you can join your Housing Forum and make suggestions about improvements to shared council areas.
Leaseholders Forum
Council leaseholders can get involved and comment on housing services they receive.
The Leaseholders forum meets three times a year. To find out more and join, visit our page on council leaseholders.
Join a service user group
To get involved and have your say about our services you can join a service user group for council tenants.
Social Housing drop-in events
From April 2024 we will be supporting bi-monthly drop-in events for council tenants.
These drop events are in partnership with Black South West Network and other local community organisations.
The events are intended to improve accessibility to council housing services for minoritised communities.
Events will be taking place at various locations around Bristol. Find an upcoming event below and click the link to reserve a spot.

Contact the Housing Management Board
The Housing Management Board is a forum for tenant and leaseholder representatives.
They can meet with senior housing managers and councillors to discuss and influence the development and management of council housing services.

Housing Scrutiny Panel
The Housing Scrutiny Panel is a recognised panel of tenants and leaseholders.

Get involved in your local community
If you're a tenant or leaseholder with communal facilities and you have ideas on how to improve them, why not apply to our Environmental Improvement Programme.
