As a panel member you will:

  • share your views and connect with others who care about housing and community
  • influence housing policy and proposals that affect residents
  • hold us to account for how the housing service is performing and advocate for improvements
  • improve resident engagement and communication including the promotion and inclusion of diverse voices

Time commitment

You'll attend meetings 4 to 6 times a year, plus training. You'll need to review materials and share your feedback between meetings .

Support and benefits

You'll get:

  • full induction and ongoing training
  • reimbursement for travel, childcare and time
  • the opportunity to build confidence and skills for your CV

About you

We hope that you'll bring:

  • your lived experience of being a council tenant or leaseholder and a desire to make a positive change
  • willingness to listen, collaborate and be curious
  • clear communication and respect for different perspectives
