When you become a governor you will be advised to read:
As a new governor you should be offered an induction to your role, this is likely to include a pack of important school policies and introduce you to how to access the papers of the governing body. Most schools use an online platform called GovernorHub.
If you're not offered an induction you should contact your Clerk to Governors, who will be able to help you find what you need.
If your school subscribes to Bristol Governor Development Service you will be able to access information and resources through your school's GovernorHub area. You will receive details to create your login when your clerk registers you on the system.
You will also be able to use it to book yourself onto our free training sessions.
