Information for Blue Badge holders driving in the Clean Air Zone
When the Bristol Clean Air Zone started in November 2022 we introduced temporary Blue Badge Daily and Longer Term Exemptions. These exemptions ended on Friday 31 March 2023, if you had these exemptions you'll now need to pay the daily charge if your vehicle isn't compliant.

National Exemption
If your vehicle has disabled tax class you do not have to pay the charge. Apply for disabled tax class (GOV.UK)
Clean Air Zone financial support
You may be eligible for financial support if you need to replace your vehicle if it doesn't meet the zone's emission standards.
