Exemption for some patients and visitors to the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) complex.

Some patients and visitors to the BRI complex will be eligible for an exemption from the zone charge if their vehicle does not meet the zone's emissions standards. Check whether your vehicle is nationally exempt or will be charged on the online vehicle checker (GOV.UK).

The hospitals where a zone charge exemption may be given are:

  • Bristol Royal Infirmary

  • Bristol Heart Institute

  • Bristol Royal Hospital for Children

  • Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre

  • St Michael's Hospital

  • Bristol Dental Hospital

  • Bristol Eye Hospital

  • Central Health Clinic
