Under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 we can control licensing of sexual entertainment venues, sex shops or sex cinemas in Bristol. 

This can include:

  • granting, renewing, or refusing licences 
  • setting terms and conditions
  • agreeing to waive the need for a licence
